Two Solutions for Your Art and Antiques

At ANTIKARTS, a dealer registered with SNCAO-GA since 2012, we offer two transparent and secure methods to help you sell your valuables:

  • Direct Purchase: we buy your items outright if they meet our selection criteria and expertise.
  • Consignment Sale: we take your items on consignment and offer them to our clients. You receive the net amount after deduction of our commission.

The Consignment Sale: A Clear and Secure Partnership

Procedure:

  1. Item Evaluation: we review your pieces (photos, dimensions, provenance, condition). An indicative estimate is provided to you.
  2. Consignment Contract: signed between you and ANTIKARTS, specifying the agreed sale price, consignment duration, and commission applied.
  3. Sale Listing: the item is presented on our sales channels (ANTIKARTS website, specialized platforms, private collectors, partner auctions).
  4. Sale and Payment: once the item is sold, you receive the net price after deduction of our commission.

Our Commission

Standard Commission: 25% VAT included of the final sale price.

👉 This commission covers:

  • item promotion (photography, description, referencing);
  • presentation to our buyers and collectors;
  • administrative procedures related to legality and possible licenses;
  • the guarantee offered to clients thanks to our professional dealer status.

Rules and Guarantees

  • Ownership: you remain the owner of the item until it is sold.
  • Authenticity and Provenance: you certify you are the legitimate owner and that the item is free from any seizure, debt, or dispute.
  • Reserve Price: no item will be sold below the agreed minimum price without your consent.
  • Payment: once the sale is confirmed and full payment received from the buyer, we will transfer the net amount to you within 30 days maximum.
  • Insurance: consigned items are kept with the utmost care. ANTIKARTS’s liability is engaged only in case of proven fault.
  • Withdrawal: you can reclaim your item before sale, subject to administrative and presentation fees (€50 excl. tax per item).
