House notes

1. Are the items you offer authentic?

Yes. All items offered by ANTIKARTS are guaranteed authentic, in accordance with current regulations and the professional ethics of the SNCAO-GA, of which we have been members since 2012. Each piece is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, issued by us or by authorized experts.

2. Where do your items come from?

Our antiques come exclusively from private collections, specialized galleries, and recognized international auctions. They are acquired in compliance with European laws and the Heritage Code.
We do not offer any items from illegal excavations or with questionable provenance.

3. Do you ship worldwide?

No. For legal reasons, we ship only within the European Union.
Export outside the EU is subject to heavy administrative constraints (export licenses, enhanced customs controls). To ensure fast and secure service, we have chosen to limit our sales to the EU.

4. Do items require an export license?

Some older items may require an export license (according to Regulation EC No. 116/2009 and the French Heritage Code).
In such cases, we handle the application.
Administrative delays can extend delivery times (2 to 5 weeks).
The client is always informed before shipping.

5. What are the delivery times?

Average delivery times within Europe are 3 to 10 business days.
In case of administrative formalities (export license), this delay may be extended. ANTIKARTS is not responsible for delays caused by carriers or customs authorities, but we track every package until receipt.

6. What shipping methods do you use?

All our items are shipped by registered and insured parcel with tracking number.
Packaging is reinforced and adapted to the fragility of each piece.
Insurance may be offered to cover the full value of the item.

7. Can I return an item if I change my mind?

Yes. In accordance with Directive 2011/83/EU and the Consumer Code (Articles L.221-18 and following), you have a 14-day withdrawal period from receipt.
Returns are at the customer's expense, by registered and insured mail.
Items must be returned in their original condition.

⚠️ Exceptions: some items (e.g., requiring a personalized export license or customized by a certificate in the buyer’s name) may be excluded from the withdrawal right, in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code.

8. Are certificates of authenticity always provided?

Yes. All our items come with a certificate of authenticity, a fundamental document certifying their origin and dating.
This certificate is recognized by insurers and judicial authorities in case of resale, inheritance, or dispute.

9. What payment methods do you accept?

We accept:
Credit card (Visa, Mastercard),
Secure bank transfer,
PayPal.
All payments are secure and comply with European consumer protection standards.

10. Do the prices shown include VAT?

In accordance with Article 293 B of the General Tax Code, items are sold under the VAT margin scheme (non-recoverable VAT).
The prices shown include all taxes.

11. Can I request more photos or information about an item?

Yes, of course. Each customer can contact us to obtain additional photos or further details.
Our experts are at your disposal to provide transparent information.

12. How do you guarantee the legality of your sales?

All our sales comply with:
Regulation EC No. 116/2009 on the export of cultural goods,
The French Heritage Code,
The principles of the 1970 UNESCO Convention on combating illicit trafficking of cultural property.
By buying from ANTIKARTS, the client benefits from a fully legal, traceable, and legally protected acquisition.
